Gem Tips: If you’re wondering what Golf Clash gems are, they do not have a lot of use other than purchasing ball upgrades or purchasing club cards. Golf clash attempts to draw you in to trade gems for coins and it’s very tempting, but if you don’t have enough experience you might blow through your coins in short order and it’s almost equal to not getting any coins at all. You can occasionally use them in the shop to purchase club cards, but in the long run, save them up for ball upgrades.
There are times you might be tempted to open a treasure chest early by sacrificing a few gems. Treasure chest are your only source of gems and unless you're in a clan with a big gem bonus percentage they come slowly with each chest. If you sacrifice gems to open a chest, that chest will probably not contain gems. It's best to be patient, open the chest later and get a few gems. Joining a clan with a good solid ranking has some great benefits including a percentage bonus on gems. For example: A typical treasure chest might have 5-10 gems. If you're part of a clan ranked at Rookie II, you would get a 30% bonus on your gem count. If you want to play the game without paying real money, the best use of your gems is to save them up for ball upgrades. Most players focus on club upgrades, but even if you have great clubs you’ll find courses where having a great club is not enough due to distance or wind speed. This is where ball upgrades really come into play. Later on when you're playing in the deep tours, these ball upgrades can make the difference between winning and losing. Having a bank of 3000 gems is a game saver. Good Luck. |
EagleMaster is one of my alternate accounts opened in the spring of 2018. If you look in the top right corner, you will see the gem count is high. Purchasing almost any ball upgrade is easy if you have the means. It means Free Ball Upgrades!
